The kind of mug that makes you want to be somewhere with trees and no cell service.

Wheel-thrown in speckled white stoneware and glazed in a deep, shifting ocean blue-green that moves from teal at the base to midnight at the rim — the kind of color that looks different every time the light changes. On one side, an embossed bear crosses a moonlit river framed by pines and mountains. On the other, a snow cabin with smoke rising from the chimney sits beside a quiet creek. Each medallion is rolled and applied by hand, left raw and unglazed, then painted with underglaze and wiped back to bring out the fine detail of the scene. The contrast between the matte, earthy medallions and the deep glossy glaze surrounding them is what makes this piece stop people in their tracks.

You will receive the exact piece pictured. We throw in small batches — not production style — so each piece is made with focused intention, and once it's gone, it's gone. Slight variations in glaze movement, form, and roundness are part of what makes handmade pottery special and what sets it apart from anything mass-produced.
