About Us

Art for Everyday Life

We create art for everyday life—pieces that are beautiful, functional, and capable of bringing a little more joy into the world.

Whether it's a favorite coffee mug, a handcrafted bowl, or a painting hanging on your wall, we believe the things you surround yourself with should make you feel something. Joy. Inspiration. Nostalgia. Connection.

The art hanging on your wall shouldn't simply fill empty space. It should make you smile when you walk into the room. It should spark a memory, start a conversation, or remind you of something you love.

We believe the same is true of handmade pottery. The mug you reach for every morning can bring as much happiness as the painting hanging above the fireplace.

That's why we create what we create—not simply to make things, but to make things people enjoy living with.

Meet the Artists

We're Stacia and Larry Morand—a husband-and-wife creative team working from our California studio.

Rock N Art Shop is where our pottery, paintings, and collaborations finally have a home of their own.

We've been creating and selling our work for years, building relationships with collectors and customers across the country. After spending time on marketplace platforms, we decided it was time to create a space that truly belonged to the studio—a place where we could share our work directly and connect more personally with the people who bring it into their homes.

If you've purchased from us before, thank you. We're so glad you're here. If you're discovering Rock N Art Shop for the first time, welcome.

Two Hands, One Studio

While our artistic backgrounds are different, we often collaborate in the studio, bringing our individual skills and perspectives together to create pieces that are uniquely our own.

Some pottery pieces are created by Stacia. Some are created by Larry. Many are the result of a collaborative process, with one of us throwing or hand-building a piece and the other contributing decoration, glazing, or finishing details. That creative partnership is part of what makes Rock N Art Shop special.

Stacia works primarily in clay, creating handmade mugs, tumblers, bowls, ring dishes, and other functional pottery. Most pieces are wheel-thrown, though some are hand-built or created using other ceramic techniques depending on the design. Everything is trimmed, glazed, and fired in our kiln—affectionately known as Skuttle Butt 1.

Larry works in both clay and paint. While he still creates pottery, much of his artistic focus today is on original paintings created under the name Legend. His work blends music, Americana, pop culture, and storytelling into bold, expressive pieces layered with energy, color, and personality. Many of his larger original works are represented through galleries, while Rock N Art Shop features select originals, smaller works, and special projects.

And then there are the pieces we create together—where pottery meets paint and the line between one artist's vision and the other's begins to blur. Those collaborative works are some of our favorites.

One of a Kind, Always

Nothing in this shop is mass-produced.

We work in small batches with focused intention—one piece at a time, throw by throw, brushstroke by brushstroke.

Some themes return. Certain forms evolve. Favorite ideas resurface in new ways. But even when we revisit a concept, no two pieces are ever exactly the same.

The movement of a glaze. The texture of a surface. The mark of a brush. The subtle differences that happen when something is made by hand.

Those variations aren't flaws. They're the reason handmade matters.

When a specific piece is gone, it's gone.

That's not a marketing line. It's simply how we work.

A New Home for the Work

Rock N Art Shop represents the next chapter of our creative journey.

This website allows us to share our work directly with the people who appreciate handmade craftsmanship, original art, and one-of-a-kind creations. The photography, the stories behind the work, the customer relationships—all of it comes directly from us.

No middleman. No algorithm deciding what gets seen.

Just artists sharing their work with people who appreciate it.

Thank You

In a world increasingly filled with mass-produced products, we are honored every time someone chooses something handmade.

Whether it's a mug that starts your morning, a bowl used around the family table, or a painting hanging on your wall, we hope it becomes one of those pieces that makes you feel something every time you see it.

Joy.

Inspiration.

Nostalgia.

Connection.

That's why we make art.

Thank you for supporting independent artists, handmade craftsmanship, and small business.

Made in California. One at a time. With our hands.
