Shipping policy
Overview
We ship all orders from our Los Angeles studio with care. Every piece in our shop is handmade or original — pottery, paintings, and collaborative works — and we pack each order with the attention it deserves.
Processing Times
Processing time is separate from shipping transit time. Please account for both when planning your purchase.
In-stock items: Orders for available, completed pieces are typically processed and shipped within 1 business day of payment confirmation.
Made-to-order and custom items: Some pieces are made to order or may still be in progress at the time of purchase. These orders require additional production time of 1 to 4 weeks depending on the item, complexity, and current studio workload. Estimated production time will be noted in the individual product listing. If you have questions about a specific piece, please contact us before purchasing.
Original paintings: Existing original paintings ship within 2 to 3 business days. We require this time to properly package each painting for safe transit.
Shipping Methods
We ship via USPS and select the appropriate service level based on package size, weight, and destination. Unless you have requested and paid for expedited shipping at checkout, we will select the shipping method at our discretion — which may include Ground, First Class, or Priority Mail.
If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm availability and provide an expedited shipping quote.
Expedited Shipping
Expedited shipping is available upon request. Please reach out before placing your order to discuss your timeline and receive a quote. Expedited fees are in addition to standard shipping rates.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on package dimensions, weight, and destination. We do not mark up shipping costs.
Domestic Shipping
We ship to all 50 US states. Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories may experience longer transit times than the continental United States.
International Shipping
We ship to select international destinations. International orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, and taxes imposed by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer and are not included in your order total or shipping cost at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
We are unable to mark international packages as gifts or declare a lower value than the actual purchase price.
Packaging
Every order is packed with appropriate protective materials. Handmade pottery and original paintings require careful packing to survive transit and we take that seriously. If your order arrives damaged, please refer to our Refund Policy for instructions.
Tracking
Tracking information will be emailed once your order ships. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking to update in the carrier's system after you receive your shipping confirmation.
Lost or Stolen Packages
We are not responsible for packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier but reported as missing or stolen. If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your package, we recommend checking with neighbors, building management, or your local post office. We will do our best to assist you in filing a carrier claim but cannot guarantee replacement or refund for confirmed deliveries.
Delays
We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside our control. During peak holiday seasons please allow extra time for both processing and transit.
