Returns & Refunds Policy

At Rock N Art Shop, every piece of pottery is handmade, and every painting is an original work. Because our work is one-of-a-kind and made by hand, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on the basis of buyer's remorse, change of mind, or because a piece looks different in person than it did on screen. This is the nature of handmade and original art — slight variations in color, glaze movement, and texture are not flaws. They are what make each piece unique.

We stand behind our work and want you to love what you bring home. Please read our policy carefully before purchasing.

What we do not accept returns on:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse
  • Color variation from screen to real life (monitors display color differently and handmade glazes have natural variation)
  • Custom or personalized orders of any kind — these are final sale at the time of purchase
  • Original paintings — all painting sales are final
  • Digital downloads of any kind (if applicable)

What we will make right: If your order arrives damaged due to shipping, we will work with you to resolve it. To be eligible for a replacement or refund on a damaged item you must:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at brushnkiln@gmail.com
  • Provide your order number
  • Send clear photos of the damaged item AND the packaging it arrived in (we need both to file a shipping claim)

Once we have reviewed your photos and confirmed the damage, we will either replace the item if a comparable piece is available or issue a full refund, including original shipping cost. We cannot guarantee an identical replacement as most pieces are one of a kind.

Shipping damage claims: We package every order carefully, but once a package leaves our studio, it is in the hands of the carrier. We strongly recommend keeping all packaging materials until you have confirmed your item arrived safely. Claims submitted without photos of both the item and the packaging may not be eligible for resolution.

Wrong item received: If you receive an item that is not what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery, and we will make it right at no cost to you.

What we cannot do:

  • Accept returns on items that have been used, washed, or displayed
  • Process refunds more than 7 days after confirmed delivery
  • Accept returns on custom or personalized work under any circumstances

A note on handmade work: Stacia throws each piece individually on the wheel in small batches. Glaze colors, surface texture, and dimensions may vary slightly from the photos shown. These variations are intentional characteristics of handmade stoneware and are not considered defects. If you have questions about a specific piece before purchasing, please reach out — we are happy to share additional photos or details.
